    Our community association hired Mrs. Valerie Dawkins to perform at our holiday event.     We hired Valerie to sing a cappella the National Anthem after a presentation by the Color Guard for an international conference of museum professionals during the Memorial Day weekend. It was one of the most moving musical performances I have every experienced in my many decades of booking talent.
